“The Monty” is an adult recreational hockey tournament unlike any other.  Teams are comprised with at least 2 women, 2 players over 50 years old,  and 3 ‘B’ level players.  Only two ‘A’ level players can be on the ice at one time.  All penalties are handled with penalty shots with the other 9 teams chasing.  Leads of 2 or more goals are punished by a team’s goalie losing his stick.  The Monty is an annual celebration of all that contribute to the Whitefish Hockey community.
